Thank you to this amazing group of fifth graders for making my first year at Lone Mountain Elementary so wonderful.  I hope you have a safe, relaxing, funny Summer Break.

Who is Mrs. Hale?

Hello! I am excited to share my love of learning with you as your fifth grader teacher.

Let me tell you a few things about myself. First of all, I am a new Cave Creek resident. I moved with husband and two dogs from Fort Collins, Colorado where I lived for almost 20 years.

Our daughter is moving to Berkeley, California to attend Law School while our son has decided to stay in Colorado where he is pondering his next steps after high school.

Of course, I am a little concerned about the heat so don’t be surprised if you see me with my water bottle everywhere I go. I love being outdoors. I am looking forward to October so I can do some hiking and camping.

I graduated with a Bachelor in Communication and a Master of Education in Teaching as a Reading Specialist from the University of Texas in Arlington. For the last 17 years, I taught 5th grade at Zach Elementary.

We are going to have a fabulous year.
